How much toe room should there be in athletic shoes for an adult man?
September 12th, 2009 | by admin |I used to get shoes that had at least a thumb-width extra room after the end of the toe. Now that I’m no longer growing, is a thumb-width too much? Should I get them so that they’re almost flush (but not actually touching)?
Thanks!
There’s no specific amount that should be left, as long as it’s comfortable to you, that should be it.
But I suggest that you leave enough room so that you can wear your shoes with thick socks without your foot feeling like it’s being compressed.
