How to get skuff marks out of an army service uniforms dress shoes?

January 22nd, 2010 | by admin |

I am a Jrotc cadet and my asu dress shoes have skuff marks all over them and i dont know how to get them out. The shoes are not leather they are made from a shiny elastic material. If any one with experience with these shoes can answer that would be asome. Thank you

Have you tried Windex, it’s always worked for me. I’d keep that info on the DL though.

When i was in JROTC i used a damp cloth applied a layer of shoe polish then let the shoes dry then applied a layer of parade polish let it dry and repeated until they gleamed like a new dime. My sergent major taught me that trick

Yikes, you might be out of luck. Thats the worst thing about those shiny shoes, if they scuff, it might be permanent. Windex might be able to get some of it off, but if they are too deep, you may need a new pair. Good luck!
