Wearing suede soled dance shoes as regular dress shoes?
November 13th, 2009 | by admin |I have this really comfortable pair of dance shoes that have suede soles. Is it acceptable if I wear them as regular dress shoes?
Or is the sole too delicate?
Is there anyway to toughen up the soles?
Okay, well, the short answer is yes, you can wear your dance shoes as regular shoes. But you won’t be able to dance in them ever again, because it will ruin the suede. Wearing them on anything other than carpet or wood will destroy the suede, but the actual sole itself should hold up, since dance shoes are pretty well made. But, as I said, you won’t be able to dance in them anymore, since the suede will be ruined. So it’s really up to you what you want to do.

Wearing suede sole shoes should only be done on carpet or smooth floors. Wearing them on wet ground, concrete, etc, will QUICKLY put holes in the suede!
