I spend the day in Ginza. Located in the very heart of the city, east of the imperial palace this is primarily a place for high end shopping during the day, and business men who work in the area to go party at night.

I have included lots of recommendations, but especially check out the JNTO Tourist Information Center and ask for their monthly event calendar.

    Ginza has loads of narrow streets where Paris is based completely on wide streets so I do not see any similarities.

    Ginza was desingned …
    Ginza was desingned by French city planner in 19th century as Washington D.C was in 18th century.
    So both of them are very similer to Paris.
    Ginza is not the busiest place in Tokyo.

    you forgot to mention another great place to go in Ginza…the Sapporo Beer Hall.. It’s kind of like a German beer hall were the beers are freakin HUGE!!! and for a reasonable price.
