What womens shoes look ok with socks or tights and what shoes should not be worn with socks or tights?

you can get away with wearing black socks with pumps in the winter (as long as your jeans arnt skinny jeans) and the ‘fashion people’ are saying it is okey to show the toes when wearing tights with peep shoes now.

Sandals should not be worn with white socks at all, really it’s a fashion no no no!

i think mainly courts should be worn with tights/socks.. somtimes you can get away with peep toes if you have black tights and black shoes but never strappy sandles x

Ok socks are a no no! But tights can be worn with closed toe shoes with straps on them. but open toe shoes and tights look pretty awful!

It’s a pretty open question, the best place to look is celebrity mags and such, they may numb your mind, but they have paid stylists to give them ideas.
what *goes* depends entirely on the look you’re after, what works from one day to another might not work on different occasions, or different people, or even with different colors.
Try for yourself, take your socks with you to a shoe shop, nobody’s going to see you getting changed.
And for the record, a lot of guys find open toed shoes / flats with tights pretty sexy.
