Why were womens shoes designed to be so uncomfortable?

If you gave a womens’ high heel shoe to a cave person or someone in ancient Egypt they would probably think it was an alien. I doesn’t look like it would even go on a foot. What makes it attractive? I wear them and I like them, but I don’t get it.

haha, an alien? that made me lmao! Anyway, they are designed to make you stand a certain way, tall, straight, chest stuck out…to look like that, I guess you have to sacrafice comfort! I don’t wear heels personally! I choose comfort and slouching!!!

    A woman’s arch can be a very sexy part of the body if it displayed properly. Wearing flat shoes does not give the natural arch that curve that is so visually erotic. With that said, the next wonderful invention made by man was the mammogram. Truly a lifesaver, but madonnaaaaaa it hurts like he!!.

    Everything for women is all about fashion and how it looks, not if it’s comfortable or not. Those freakin skinny jeans, tight as ever, you can’t move in them, not comfortable lol, the high heel shoes that squish your toes lol. I don’t know how people even wear it to begin with, I prefer the comfy clothes =D

    this fits into my philosophy for life which is ‘clogs for all’ – we could all tap dance our way to the end of a moon beam return empty handed and then drink lashings of ginger beer, hooray!
